This monthly quilt is full of tiny pieces, appliqué and stitched memories.  Come along each month to stitch the verse, then receive a pattern to incorporate the verse in a block.  Project runs for 12 lessons/months.

Each month of this class you will be issued with a Bareroots Little Stitchies pattern that depicts a house situated in a scene depicting that month.  You will be able to start stitching in class then complete the borders at home.  At the end you will have a quilt/wall hanging consisting of 12 houses to decorate your home or give as a gift.  Samples of the patterns are available at the Tree for viewing.

($15 includes pattern - $30 will be required 1st Lesson so payments are 1 month in advance) Project runs for 12 months.

This quilt combines some pieced blocks and some appliquéd blocks.  We will meet once a month over 9 months so you will have plenty of time to complete your quilt.  You will only need to bring Sewing machine for the first and last lessons.  All other lessons will be preparing appliqué blocks in class for stitching at home (by hand or machine).  Come along and join us for some fun. Quilt will be in store ASAP.

This blended quilt is easily achieved with simple piecing.  You will require a Jelly Roll, a Layer Cake and some border fabric to complete this generous (what a surprise!) quilt.  Why not join us for some fun while creating.

This class comprises of drafting, fast rotary cutting, machine piecing and understanding how different fabric values can give the same block a variety of looks.  Once you have completed your sampler blocks, you will be taught how to calculate your sashing and backing requirements.  The basics of machine quilting will then be taught and after 3 weeks away quilting you will return to learn how to finish your quilt with binding.

A practical wall hanging that neatly accommodates your Christmas Cards whilst adorning your walls in the tradition of Christmas.

This is a large quilt (of course it is - it's Jennys).  But oh so very easy to make.  By Christmas you could have a new quilt for every bed in the house.  Jenny has made this one in Christmas fabric, but that is not necessary if you prefer something different.  Approximate size 90" x 86".

If you have completed the Tea with Friends stitcheries from 2009, this is the class you need to take to complete the quilt.  Alison will guide you through finishing this project so that it doesn’t become another UFO.

In this class you can choose to make one of these easy, handy bags using a Charm Pack or Jelly Roll. Roxanne will help you create and you will be able to leave with your completed bag.

Here is something a little new for those of you who do not want to make a full size quilt.  This be runner will lay accross the foot of your bed and look just as beautiful.  It is strip pieced of course.  Approximate size 78" x 40".

Have you ever wanted to create Blanket stitch that looks like it was done by hand - on your sewing machine?  Roxanne has some great tips and ideas to share.  (Be warned that some sewing machines do Blanket Stitch better than others - some don't do it at all.  However Roxanne is happy to have a play with you and your machine to create great looking Machine Applique.)

Hand Applique, hand stitching and some machine piecing is used to create this gorgeous rustic oval shaped Christmas Table Topper.  See sample in store.

Let’s use one of those Jelly Rolls you have been saving in your stash to make this simply pieced tablecloth.  Bring along a smile.  Approximate finished size 60” x 60”.

All machine pieced - Roxanne has designed this Advent Calender that you will have finished in time for Christmas 2010. It incorporates pockets and treasured messages that the young or young at heart can use to count down the days until Santa's arrival.

Ever wanted to create eight pointed diamond stars?  In this class Roxanne will show you how easy it is using the ‘Easy Eight’™ ruler.  You will create a table runner and placemats; however more importantly learn how to create a great block that can be incorporated into your next quilt.  Check out the samples in store now.

You will be surprised and excited about how quickly and easily you can make these lovely gifts.  First we have a table runner – I call this "The One Hour Project".  Then we have placemats in the flip and quilt-as-you-go technique.  Last, but not least, we have a beautiful bag featuring just a little machine appliqué and some tiny rusty bells.  Come in and see all of these projects in store now.

All you need is your favourite Jelly Roll and a Charm pack to whip up this 46" square table topper.  Adorned with vines and stars, and edged with Prarie Points - this project is suitable for Christmas or Everyday use.

In this workshop Dianne will teach the principals of easy, stress free needle-turn appliqué. The techniques taught will include pattern transferring, achieving sharp points, smooth curves, fray free concave corners, bias stems, and simple invisible stitches.  Dianne specializes in correct colour and balance, which will help you with all your patchwork, not just applique.  You will be supplied with the pattern "Rose and Daisy" to work on in class.
